Be creative find great jokes, quips, quotes or other valued information (search Google) to share in your tweets. The First impressions people have of you should be positive.When following others on Twitter take the time to personalize the message you write them, (thanking them for the follow) and let them take the first step towards getting information from you! Not you pushing your sale in their face the first time you send them a direct message, SO ANNOYING!! I can not even tell you how many direct messages I get everyday from people (with no personalization) just trying to sell me something!! (I automatically delete those), and look at my personalized messages.

Think about it wouldn't you rather be Remembered than thought of as another (Pushy Marketer). There are so many people on Twitter searching for opportunities, when you approach them the right way you can get free traffic to your site! Don't be impersonal, take your time and create friendships ask people how they are, what they are looking for from Twitter.
