Twitter might be Godsend to some, but it does not hold all the answers. Yes, micro blogging can be very addicting and fun, but that is precisely the trouble with Twitter. I’m sure a lot of teachers, parents, employers and maybe even spouses around the world agree with me on this one.
Twitter is known as the SMS of the Internet due to the limited amount of characters you can send to an exclusive group of followers. Still, that does not diminish the appeal of this social media one bit.
Here are some issues about Twitter to watch out for.
Trouble # 1 with Twitter: It’s virtually irresistible.
Many Twitter users admit that checking their Twitter account is one of the first things they’ll check when they turn their computer on.
While this does not exactly pose a problem when you’re at home, it is a different matter when you’re at work. Some companies have actually restricted Twitter sites on their employees’ computers because it hinders workflow.
Instead of composing filing documents into their respective folders, employees are twittering on their computers – maybe even twittering that they’re filing documents and then forgetting about actually doing it all together.
There’s nothing wrong with using Twitter. Just keep it in moderation, and not when you have a list of other more important tasks to attend to. More on Trouble with Twitter: Are You Making These Twitter Mistakes?

Obviously, Tweet Elite Pro is my favorite Twitter tool. I wouldn't have almost 14,000 followers with out it. My next favorite Twitter tool is Tweet Deck. Tweet deck is the ultimate tweeting platform.
You can easily keep up with tweeple or topics by using the search function. You create multiple columns with an easy to use interface that does all kinds of cool stuff, including a translate tweet function that does just what it says.
As more and more people get on Twitter, I am starting to see tweets in foreign languages. If you are using Tweet Deck you can click on the translate button and waaa laaa! It changes it to English for you. How cool is that.
Now I'm not going to write a novel here going over all of the features. Tweet Deck is free so click on the link, download it, and give it a try. You can thank me later. Or leave a comment below.

I was talking with Vince Craine, co-founder of Tweet Elite Pro, and he told me that he is going to hold an affiliate contest to help everyone stay motivated. It will be a race of sorts.
The first affiliate to sell 20 memberships to Tweet Elite Pro will win $200. The trial sign-ups count as long as they continue for one month and pay the $37.
So I guess the race is on! I have been checking the other affiliates sites and so far, nobody is offering any kind of a bonus. Well, I put one together and sent it off to my list this morning. We'll see what kind of response I get.
I will make my Mega Twitter bonus available to the public as soon as I get a web page set up to send people to. Check back later tonight or tomorrow morning. I should have something ready.
I am going to offer a bunch of videos, some templates, ebooks that will all be Twitter related. I am also going to give out a limited number of one on one consultations. So make sure you keep an eye out.

There has been some concern that using software like Tweet Elite Pro will get your Twitter account banned. I have been assured by the owners that there is nothing to worry about. Vince and Jay have been working hand in hand with Twitter during the entire creation process.
Jay Benoit, who is the programmer and master mind behind the software, has actually had the software whitelisted by Twitter. That means that Twitter has given Tweet Elite Pro it's seal of approval. Therefore, no worries about getting your Twitter account banned by using the software.

I set up a Hub page for Tweet Elite Pro as part of my usual affiliate/SEO strategy. Since I got in on the ground floor of the Tweet Elite Pro creation process as a beta tester, it is worth the time and effort. The pre-launch is onlya prelude for a bigger launch yet to come which will make all the other Twitter tools seem obsolete.
Once the servers and software have been rigorously tested with 100 or so members, the creators will have a better idea of what kind of resources will be needed to take on a larger number of accounts.
When this happens there will be a full blown launch with more affiliates then just a few beta testers. I am laying the ground work to position myself in the search engines now in preparation for the upcoming "big" launch.
The creation of a Hub page is part of that ground work. If you go and Google Tweet Elite Pro, you will see that my Hub page is listed right below the owners website. If you put Tweet Elite Pro in quotes, my Hub page is number 1. That is because Hub pages pulls some serious "authority weight" with Google.
My next step will be to create a Squidoo lens, then a page on Weebly, then a page on Wet Paint. All of these pages will have links to each other and back to this blog. They will also link to my squeeze page which is on the main page of this domain.
Having the blog underneath the main domain will make the search engine spiders dig deeper into the domain. Eventually, this will get my squeeze page listed and also create a double listing on Google.
There are many other things that I will be doing with the ultimate goal of dominating the search engine results for Tweet Elite Pro. I am currently writing an ebook that will show in detail the whole process that you can use to dominate search engine results for long tail keywords.
I have made quite a few affilaite sales using these tactics. I will reveal all in my ebook. Until then you can see a lot of what I am doing on my other blog at http://jtmartin.net.
